Terms of Use & Rental Conditions

These Terms of Use govern your use of Dusky Rift Prestige services and website. By booking a vehicle or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read carefully.

1. Rental Eligibility

To rent from Dusky Rift Prestige, you must be at least 25 years old (28 for supercars), hold a valid driver's license for 3+ years, provide acceptable identification, have a clean driving record, possess a valid credit card for security deposit, and meet insurance requirements.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings require deposit or full payment at confirmation. Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Security deposits vary by vehicle class (AUD $2,000 - $10,000). Payment accepted via credit card or bank transfer. Corporate billing available for approved accounts. All prices subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy

7+ days notice: Full refund. 3-6 days notice: 50% refund. Less than 48 hours: No refund. No-shows: No refund. Flexible rebooking options available (fees may apply). Wedding packages have different cancellation terms.

4. Vehicle Use Restrictions

You must NOT drive under influence of alcohol or drugs, exceed posted speed limits, use vehicle for illegal purposes, participate in racing or competitive events, allow unauthorized drivers to operate vehicle, drive on unsealed roads (unless approved SUV), smoke in vehicles, transport pets without prior approval, or exceed passenger capacity.

5. Insurance and Liability

Comprehensive insurance included in rental rates. Excess applies to all claims (varies by vehicle). Excess reduction options available. Insurance void if Terms violated. You are responsible for all fines and tolls. You are liable for damage resulting from misuse. GPS tracking enabled for security purposes.

6. Vehicle Condition and Returns

Vehicles delivered in perfect condition. Pre-rental inspection documented. Return vehicle in same condition (normal wear excepted). Full tank of premium fuel at return (or refueling charge applies). Late returns subject to additional charges. Excessive cleaning required: AUD $250-$500 fee.

7. Interstate and Long-Distance Travel

Interstate travel permitted with 24 hours notice. Unlimited kilometers on 7+ day rentals. Metropolitan rentals: 200km/day limit (excess: AUD $1/km). One-way rentals available (additional fee applies). Notify us of travel plans for insurance coverage.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

See our Privacy Policy for data handling practices. GPS tracking used for security and theft recovery. Driving data may be used for insurance and safety purposes. Personal information protected per Australian Privacy Act.

9. Limitation of Liability

Dusky Rift Prestige is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, delays or unavailability due to circumstances beyond our control, personal injuries (covered by your insurance), or lost profits or opportunities. Liability limited to rental amount paid.
